TruncToHour

Truncates a datetime value to the hour.

Syntax

• TruncToHour(t)

  • t is a datetime structure or a timestamp

Description

If t is a DateTime structure or a timestamp, then TruncToHour(t) returns t rounded to the nearest preceding hour; effectively, it sets the minute, second, and millisecond parts to zero.

TruncToHour(t) is a DateTime structure or a timestamp if t is.
