AddSeconds

Adds a specified number of seconds to a point in time.

Syntax

• AddSeconds(t, n)

  • t is a datetime structure or a timestamp

  • n is an integer

Description

AddSeconds(t, n) returns the point in time obtained by adding n whole seconds to t. If t is a DateTime structure or a timestamp, so is the result.

Examples

AddSeconds(date(2020, 05, 20), 5)

date.year: 2020
date.month: May
date.day: 20
time.hour: 0
time.minute: 0
time.second: 5
time.millisecond: 0
